Vibe Coding Platforms for Building a SaaS

Seven vibe coding platforms for building a SaaS, from Lovable and Bolt to Claude Code and Cursor: what each is best at and what it costs.

Vibe coding platforms let you build software by describing it in plain English. They come in two kinds: app builders, where you chat and get a running app in your browser, and AI coding tools, where an AI agent works inside your code. If you’re building a SaaS, the right one depends on whether you write code yourself and how far you plan to take the product.

Here are seven platforms founders use to build SaaS products, what each is best at and what it costs, with prices from each company’s own site.

Many founders start with an app builder, then move the code into an AI coding tool once the product has real customers. Most builders let you export to GitHub, which makes that move easy.

App builders

1. Lovable

Lovable turns a description into a full web app with a database and sign-in, and lets you keep refining it in chat. It’s popular with founders building their first SaaS. The free plan gives 5 build credits a day (up to 30 a month); paid plans add monthly credits for building, Cloud and the AI features in your app, priced on Lovable’s site.

Best for: founders who want a polished first version without writing code.

2. Bolt

Bolt, from StackBlitz, builds and runs full-stack apps in the browser, with hosting and databases included. The free plan includes 1 million tokens a month (300,000 a day). Pro is $25 a month for 10 million tokens with no daily limit, custom domains and no Bolt branding; unused tokens roll over.

Best for: fast prototypes you can put on your own domain.

3. Replit

Replit gives you an AI agent plus a full development environment and deployments in one place. Core is $20 a month, or $18 billed yearly, including $20 of usage for more powerful models. Pro is $100 a month for up to 15 collaborators and parallel agents.

Best for: founders who want to see and touch the code while the agent builds.

4. v0 by Vercel

v0 generates interfaces and full apps, with visual editing, GitHub sync and one-click deployment to Vercel. The free plan allows 7 messages a day. Paid plans include monthly credits; Business is $100 a user a month.

Best for: polished front ends, especially if you’ll host on Vercel.

AI coding tools

5. Claude Code

Claude Code is Anthropic’s AI coding agent. It works in your terminal and editor, reads your whole codebase and can plan and carry out multi-step changes. It’s included with Claude’s paid plans: Pro is $20 a month, or $17 a month billed yearly, and Max starts at $100 a month.

Best for: developers and technical founders working on a real codebase.

6. Cursor

Cursor is an AI-first code editor with an agent that can make changes across your project. There’s a free tier, and paid plans add more AI usage; see Cursor’s site for current plans.

Best for: developers who want AI built into their editor.

7. GitHub Copilot

Copilot works inside VS Code, JetBrains and GitHub itself, and its cloud agent can take an issue and open a pull request. There’s a free plan with limited usage; Pro is $10 a month, Pro+ $39 and Max $100, each including GitHub AI Credits.

Best for: teams already living in GitHub.

How to choose

  • You don’t write code and want a first version this week: Lovable or Bolt.
  • You want to learn and see the code: Replit.
  • The front end matters most: v0.
  • You have a codebase and real customers: Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot.

Whichever you pick, budget for usage. Every platform here meters AI work in credits, tokens or requests, and a long session of fixing bugs uses more than building did.

The part nobody mentions: running what you built

Vibe coding made building fast. Running a SaaS didn’t get any faster. Once customers arrive, someone has to answer their questions, read their bug reports, keep track of feature requests, write the release notes and notice when the site goes down at 3am.

That’s the job Rectify does. Paste one prompt into Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor and Rectify adds its widget to your app; Quanta, its AI teammate, then runs support, feedback, your roadmap, changelog and uptime. See the in-app widget and Quanta.

Questions founders ask

What is vibe coding?

Building software by describing what you want in plain English and letting AI write the code. You steer, test and refine, rather than typing every line yourself.

Can you build a real SaaS with vibe coding?

Yes. Many founders ship paying products built this way. The catch is everything after launch: security, bugs, support and keeping the product running. Plan for those from day one.

Which vibe coding platform is best for beginners?

An app builder like Lovable or Bolt, because you see the result immediately and hosting is handled for you.

Prices and features are taken from each company’s own site: Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Claude, Cursor and GitHub Copilot. Prices change quickly in this market, so check theirs before you decide.

You build it. Rectify runs it.
